What is it that keeps us up at night What is it that makes us sleep all day What is it that made us lock and isolate But always makes us feel we need an escape Something that made us go silent when words needed to express But something that makes us blurt words we never meant Something that makes us question every move But also a thing that justifies dreaded Dr Google As I ponder on my old friend's mysterious roots Pills exercise therapy serve only as his food How...how does one forget I can only chuckle and say wait for this prose to end The irony too much...for it makes one forget a very old friend.... 21 June 2021
